Great way to add protein to soups!

I have tried lots of ways to add protein to soups, but sometimes adding beans or meat simply isn't the right solution. This powder is a fantastic way to hide the addition of a few more grams of protein per serving, depending on how tolerant someone is for a little grittiness in their protein.

This powder definitely adds some grit, so you can't add a full serving to a small cup. It is very gritty. But if you add a full scoop to say 4 servings it suddenly becomes far less noticeable and still adds a nice boost of protein to the soup. The flavor is actually pretty nice that it adds as well - it's earthy and vegetable-like. It improved the flavor of my chicken soup by adding a tiny bit.

Different kind of protein

I like to add different kinds of protein to my smoothies and I have never tried mung bean protein. I do like to eat mung beans. I find the mung bean itself to be crunchy and absorbs the taste of the other ingredients/sauces. That is exactly how this protein powder tastes. I add it to my morning smoothly with a variety of fruits and vegetables and it is tasteless in there. It mixes well with no clumping. I also like the high protein content.

Plant-based protein shake and who doesn’t love beans!

When I don’t feel like eating solid food and I need some form of protein to feel full, this is it. I usually add this to my other protein shake but otherwise in the morning I would add it to a cup of milk the fact that it has 26g of protein with some form of fiber of 4g it hits the spots. The taste is mild to nothing at all, there’s no sugar, and the quality is decent.
